The Hemlock wood is painted flat black on the outside only, Canadian Hemlock is a beautiful wood, it has been used in saunas for centuries. Many manufacturers use hemlock wood as it is less expensive than cedar, and Its fine grain and pale color give the inside of the saunas a clean, modern aesthetic look. Hemlock resists warping and cracking even under the high temperatures and moisture levels typical in saunas, this durability ensures a longer-lasting structure. Hemlock doesn’t release harmful chemicals when heated, making it a safe material for prolonged exposure in sauna environments, it is also scent-neutral, making it ideal for people sensitive to strong wood aromas.
These Full Spectrum Saunas use FAR and Near Infrared heaters. The Far Infrared heaters are Carbon Nano Ultra-Low EMF Heaters, and the NEAR Infrared are glass heaters with Visible light, so you will see the heaters glowing. These visible light heaters emit a hotter feel than the FAR infrared heaters.
