Having the mixture of both Near and FAR Infrared is relatively new to the sauna industry. The reader has to understand that an infrared sauna will make you sweat and has many health benefits, no matter what type of Infrared it is, it will still have many benefits. In a nutshell: Far Infrared can penetrate deeper into your body, giving better penetration of infrared therapy. Near infrared is better for the surface of the skin (But both are good for skin and both are good for aching muscles and joints and detox) Both Near and FAR Infrared penetrate deeper than traditional Sauna heaters. The Wise full spectrum Infrared saunas have 1 x Near Infrared heater under the bench and 2 Near Infrared heaters facing the user. If Near Infrared is good for the skin, then having them facing you makes a lot of sense.

Wise Full Spectrum Saunas use FAR and Near Infrared heaters, this means the full Infrared Spectrum is used. The Far Infrared heaters are Carbon Nano Ultra-Low EMF Heaters, and the NEAR Infrared heaters use Visible light. These visible light heaters emit a hotter feel than the FAR infrared heaters, but FAR infrared heaters are more known to go deeper into tissue to help eliminate toxins and give deeper tissue therapy.
